Gorgeous hike overlooking palisades, west LA. About 7 miles RT.
Parker Mesa Overlook offers incredible panoramic views of Santa Monica Bay, the Palos Verdes Peninsula, the Palisades, and nearly all of West LA on a clear bluebird day. The hike is moderately challenging, but the scenery makes it absolutely worth the effort.
The overview was great but did take some time to get to the overview location. Overall the location was pretty.
One of the best views of the palisades, Santa Monica pier, Pacific Ocean, mid wilshire and downtown LA on a clear day.
Amazing panorama!

Beautiful views of the ocean. There’s parking but gets very full pretty quickly. We...
For a short hike that is close to the city, this place was perfect! Very green, with wild flowers. I liked the smell of wild flowers at the top. Good view of Santa Monica and you can even see some part of Los Angeles downtown, and view of the beach too.
